Visitors and Volunteers
Volunteers with valid Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector checks are invited to volunteer at our school. Instructions and forms for acquiring this police check can be found below.
Volunteers are a very important part of our school community! All volunteers are required to submit a Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check before being permitted to volunteer.
For the safety of our students and staff, all visitors and volunteers are required to sign in at the office and may only enter through the main entrance.
Steps to obtain a Criminal Record Check, with Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check

Download and print the Rocky View Schools Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check Application

Visit your local RCMP detachment to apply and complete your vulnerable sector check (forms are below)
**Applicable fees will be charged at time of application confirmation**
When completed, the school is required to see the original Criminal Record Check document. Please bring the original to the office where they will take a copy and retain the copy on file for 5 years.
Each year after an Annual Statutory Declaration form will need to be completed and retained at the school.
We also require an annual Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Undertaking ; Health & Safety Orientation Checklist; and Consent for Public Use of Volunteer/Visitor/Contractors Images/Work forms to be completed prior to volunteering.
